Kurt Schwitters on canvas, poster, wallpaper and ArtFrame by Peter Balan

Kurt Schwitters (1887–1948) was a German artist best known for his collages and assemblages. He is regarded as a pioneer of Dadaism and later of Constructivism, but he developed his own style, which he called "Merz." Schwitters created artworks from found materials such as paper, metal, wood, and everyday objects, which he incorporated into abstract compositions. His most famous work is the "Merzbau," a walk-in sculpture that was built in his home.
