Alexander Konstantinowitsch Bogomasow on canvas, poster, wallpaper and ArtFrame by Peter Balan

Alexander Konstantinovich Bogomazov (1880–1930) was a Ukrainian painter, art theorist, and one of the most important representatives of the Ukrainian avant-garde. He is regarded as a co-founder of Cubo-Futurism and, in his theoretical work Painter and Elements (1914), developed his own artistic philosophy on rhythm, movement, and form. His works combine Cubist structures with Futurist dynamism and often depict landscapes, city views, and scenes of modern life. Bogomazov was also a teacher at the Kyiv Art Academy and influenced many young artists.
