Franz von Stuck
Franz von Stuck (1863-1928) was a significant German symbolist, painter, and sculptor of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Known for his symbolist works featuring mythological and religious motifs, he combined elements of Art Nouveau and Neoclassicism. Stuck was also active as a teacher and significantly influenced the art scene of his time. He founded the Munich artists' association "Die Scholle" and taught at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts, where he exerted a great influence on the art scene of his era.
