I took this photo in the Veluwemeerkust nature reserve between Harderwijk and Nunspeet. This nature reserve is a natura 2000 area where mainly meadow birds, geese and swans live. The stream in the photo is the Hierdensche beek that flows into the Veluwemeer after the bend. Because of the reeds, you can't actually see the Veluwemeer in the photo. As you can see, it was an overcast day when I took this photo. In fact, it was well into autumn, pretty much winter to be honest. The reeds you see in the photo extend to the Veluwemeer. I chose to take this photo standing up because it suits this spot better.
