I took this photo in the Leuvenum forest near Harderwijk in the Veluwe. The stream in the photo is the Leuvenumse beek, it is also called the Hierdense beek. Next to the brook you can see a few hills, which used to be small sand dunes. In this part of the forest are mainly beech trees. When I took this photo, it was early January. In recent years, this brook is almost dry in summer as autumn because of the drought. To take this photo, I used a tripod for more stabilisation. Furthermore, for this photo I used 2 different photos with different exposures so that the sky that you can see between the branches is better, it actually became an HDR photo.
