This photo was taken in the Leuvenum forest in the municipality of Nunspeet in the Veluwe. The water you see on the forest floor comes from the Leuvenumse beek which flows right past this spot. At the bottom of the photo you can still see some dry ground, but if you look further you can see grass standing in the water as a sign that the water is not very deep. The water did not flow fast at this spot so you can still see reflections in the water. In this piece of forest are mainly conifers. To take this photo I stood on a hill with this view through the forest, furthermore this photo is an HDR consisting of 3 photos with different exposures. I was lucky that it was windless for a while when I took the photos. When I took the 3 photos for this HDR, it was spring, you can see it here and there in the fresh green in this HDR photo.
