I took this photo on Staverden estate in the municipality of Ermelo in the Veluwe. Before I took this photo, I saw this chancel view towards the Staverden water mill at one time. The white building belonged to the water mill and behind the waterfall is another water wheel, the water wheel is an upper wheel. The water mill was a grain mill where farmers used to bring their grain. The water from the waterfall comes from the Staverdense beek which is led to this waterwheel via a mill stream, the watercourse you see in the foreground leads from the watercourse and flows back into the Staverdense beek. The trees what you see are deciduous trees, I even think they are beech trees. I chose to use a few branches of some deciduous trees as a frame to get more depth in the photo. The watercourse also helps to add depth to this photo. I took this photo out of hand and had a 35mm lens on my camera.
