I took this macro picture of a fly in the backyard. This fly was sitting on a plant that was almost flowering and was brushing its snout when I took the picture. The plant that this fly was sitting on blooms in the summer and dies again in the fall, what the name of the plant is I dare not say. It was already summer when I took this picture. I used a Nikon 85mm DX macro lens for this macro photo and shot it all by hand. With macro photography, you quickly have blurred background and I like that in this macro photo. I do not know what kind of fly it is, it is a general fly though.
