About the artwork

A dramatic black-and-white shot captures the splendour of a waterfall at Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye. The water falls elegantly over the rocks, like soft, silvery curtains. The dark, rolled rocks in the foreground testify to the natural violence that once formed the river. The fall of the water is both powerful and graceful, a moment of movement in an otherwise still and timeless setting.

The textures of the rocks are sharp and detailed in the monochrome palette. Every fissure, crack and grain in the rock seems to jump forward, making the ancient, weathered nature of the place palpable.

The water drops jumping back and forth at the bottom of the waterfall give this picture its playfulness. Above the waterfall, the mountain range rises where the water and rocks come from, but it remains mysterious because we cannot see the top. This background adds a sense of grandeur to the image, while quietly celebrating the rugged beauty of the landscape.

The shot, devoid of colour but full of contrast, manages to capture the essence of Fairy Pools: a place where nature and magic come together in a breathtaking, timeless spectacle of water and stone.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
