Venice is certainly one of the most popular tourist destinations.
One of the city's most famous landmarks is probably the Rialto Bridge over the Grand Canal.
Dating back to the 16th century, the stone bridge is unique in its architecture.
While this bridge is crowded with people during the day, whether tourists or locals, I was able to photograph it deserted in the early morning.
I chose winter for my trip, partly because of the fog that often occurs at this time of year.
I find such foggy moods simply outstanding for creating pictures, they breathe something mysterious into the image.
There was still fog over the city that early morning. It was empty and even the traders were probably still asleep.
The yellow tables and chairs on the promenade of the Grand Canal are a colourful accent and enliven the quiet and mysterious scenery.
