Venice
What images come to mind?
I wanted to experience Venice in a different way than crowded alleys and cruise ships travelling through Venice.
I was looking for the mysterious, quiet and old Venice.
That's why I travelled to Venice in winter.
In winter, the city is often covered in sea fog and it is cold.
As you can see in the picture here.
There are many famous buildings in Venice, as you can see in the picture, the Bridge of Sighs.
Thick fog lies over the city and depresses the mood. In the foreground, a gondolier is rowing his gondola into the historic centre.
The visual view ends at the old houses in the distance.
Thanks to the longer exposure, you can feel the movement of the gondolier.
An authentic image of Venice that is given a certain charm by the diffuse atmosphere created by the fog.
