About ‘The stand up paddler in the sunset’ by Oliver Lahrem

On a trip from Lake Constance to Königssee, I spent an evening at the beautiful Chiemsee.
The Bavarian Sea on the edge of the Alps is a wonderful place to linger.
After the midday heat, people came to the lakeshore in the evening to end the day with pleasure.
The last of the water sports enthusiasts returned to the lake, whether sailors, rowers or stand-up paddlers.
The sun had gone down and now an impressive sunset appeared.
The intense colours were reflected in the shallow lake water. The colour gradient resembled a watercolour from pink to violet.
A lone stand-up paddler was still alone on the water and slowly approached the lake shore.
He looked very small on the large lake, but he still had a great effect on the whole picture.
I captured this scene in the picture shown.
With its impressive, vibrant colours, it is a real eye-catcher, yet radiates a sense of calm due to its minimalist style.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
