I took this photo of the Vischpoort in Harderwijk on a sunny afternoon in February, although there were some clouds in the sky. The Vischpoort of Harderwijk is a characteristic city gate of Harderwijk on the Zuiderzee side of the city, the distinctive feature of this gate is surely the lighthouse on the roof of the gate that had to warn the ships on the Zuiderzee. Through this gate, fish and Trade that went over the water used to enter the city. The water pump that you see is a fairly new pump that must look old. Next to the Vischpoort you can still see an old house where the poorer people used to live, nowadays the house right next to the gate as above the gate houses the Archaeological Society of Harderwijk. In one of the arches in the city wall is another statue of a couple in love, it is supposed to represent a girl saying goodbye to her boyfriend who is going fishing. This photo is an HDR photo that consists of 3 photos with different exposures that I merged into 1 HDR afterwards. Of course, I had also put my camera on a tripod so that the 3 photos have the same composition.
