I took this photo on the former island of schokland in the Northeast Polder. Schokland used to be in the Zuiderzee; you can see the seabed in the foreground of the photo. Nowadays Schokland is no more than a hill in the landscape. When I took this picture there were a few puddles in the foreground because it rained. The buildings you see in the photo today house a museum. For this photo I chose to convert it to black and white, it does give an old-fashioned feel.
