What adorable little animals rabbits are. One minute they are running, fighting and playing with each other and the next they are swooning away. The remarkable thing is that they remain alert and are fully awake and ready to flee at the drop of a hat. Of course, these are characteristics of prey animals and yet I marvel at them every time. This rascal is still a young animal and only a few weeks old, has just eaten its fill and is enjoying the warmth of the sun. Running diagonally behind this bunny is a finch. The rabbit's pose is fantastically beautiful and unique to be able to capture it like this. Front legs between the hind legs, hind legs with seat well in contact with the ground. Through this ground contact, signals of danger given off by other rabbits can be detected by vibration (the stamping). Hairs slightly expanded to perceive air movement and ears pointed in two directions to pick up sounds. It looks like falling asleep but that is really different in a rabbit than in us humans. rabbits are prey animals and always alert.
I love catching rabbits with my camera. My patience was rewarded and I managed to take a brilliant photo.
Beautiful for on the wall, usable in any room.
