About the artwork

Beautiful colors of a forest born out of a fairy tale. At any moment you expect something to move, a fabulous creature to reveal itself or a bird to sing its song. The soft bright colors of the leaves are a caress for the senses and you feel the warmth of the sun embracing the robust tree trunks.

Although it looks like a forest from a distant land, this photo was taken in the Netherlands. This really is being in the right place at the right time. Catching the light with the camera can sometimes be luck, and it makes me happy. 1 minute earlier or later can make all the difference. Photography is preparation, waiting, technique and then also having a portion of luck. This photo is the result of that. A forest like a fairy tale.

I have been coming to this place intermittently for more than 60 years. Many memories have been created here, always pleasant and respectful of this place. The place that is special because of the mood it evokes, peace, quiet and space for contemplation. Always a sense of confidence that it will be okay and also how beautiful it can be in the present. This place is in my heart and seeing this photo I relive the beautiful moments.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
