When I was at Lake Ziway (Ethiopia) in the late afternoon photographing birds there, a bird appeared in my lens that I did not immediately recognise. But I did press the shutter button. Only when it landed did I see that it is one of Ethiopia's most beautiful birds: the crowned crane. And then it also landed among the flowering aquatic plants. In this photo, the bird's wings are reminiscent of those of an angel.
