This picture shows Lake Ziway, one of Ethiopia's beautiful lakes. The sun has already set. The photo was taken at the beginning of the rainy season, partly because of the beautiful clouds. The blue tones have to do with the time of day when the photo was taken, just before nightfall. What I find special about this photo is that it somehow evokes associations with the North or South Pole, even though it was taken in an African country.
