About ‘Lake Chalalaka overlooking the Jerer’ by Arie Maasland

Close to the centre of the Ethiopian town of Bishoftu (or: Debre Zeit) is Lake Chalalaka. This lake is filled with rainwater most of the year.
It is thus shallow and attracts a large number of birds. Part of the year, flamingo's can also be seen, as in these photos's.
