About "Golden Lily's"

About the artwork

A very special lily, on display at the Hortus Botanicus in Leiden. Beautiful warm yellow colour, with dark brown accents.

The sun shone brilliantly on the flowers, giving the whole thing a golden glow! Lilies are always graceful and special to see. They come in so many colours! The pollen from lilies is poisonous though, for humans and animals.

I uploaded this work in Photoshop and then incorporated colours from the flowers into the background. Which was natural by nature, but actually quite dark. I did keep that dark though, as it makes a nice contrast with the yellow. I also cloned some details and reflected them in the added luminous orbs. The entire piece was made by hand, so no AI was used.

This is a beautiful work for above the sofa! Ochre yellow and warm terra tones are in; just look at VT wonen, fall in love with your home again! Beautiful, warm tones are used very often. Gold is also a stayer in interiors. So this gorgeous piece of art is a must-have!

My advice is to print it on glass or aluminium. This gives even more depth to the picture! I also advise not to incorporate this work in a wallpaper. That big won't do the effect any good. But you can certainly print it in sofa width or for above your bed at a nice size!

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
