About the artwork

A mushroom in a fairytale forest.

A dreamy image of a lone mushroom in a warm and dreamy forest. The photo was taken in the beautiful area Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes. There were a huge number of such mushrooms.

The original image was a bit flat and not very warm. And autumn is precisely the time for warm colours. So I gave this mushroom a beautiful warm glow in post-processing. The sunshine in the background is partly real, but additionally enhanced and warmly coloured with colour-grading. The tufts of grass that seem almost translucent add an extra dimension to the image.

This picture is particularly suitable for printing on glass. The warm colours will then stand out even more. A very nice and calm image, which fits perfectly in a peaceful interior. Not too much fuss, less is more. The colours are mainly shades of brown, yellow and green. With a little black.

Very suitable for the kitchen and dining room, but would also look great in a hallway or office. Also suitable for brightening up workplaces! I am very proud of this picture, because of its sharpness and minimalist image combined with the warm colours of autumn!

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
