About "Moody stork"

About the artwork

Beautiful stork with a dark background.
The photo was taken in Avifauna and edited in Lightroom and a little Photoshop.

The colours were kept cool on purpose. In the foreground and background you can still see some vegetation, leaves and grass. The stork's white feathers stand out beautifully against the dark background.

I took this picture some time ago, but edited it today, keeping in mind the terrible event in The Hague today.
I will also donate part of the proceeds from this work to a charity based in The Hague. For example, I am thinking of Lichtpuntjes voor Mariahoeve.

The Hague, the city that has a stork as a mascot and can also be found in the Hague flag. The Hague, a city with special inhabitants, with a special tongue and special attitude to life. I love Hagenezen. Some friends of mine are all from The Hague and there was always a nice flat Hague accent at home. As a Rotterdam native, I can always appreciate that.

I wish all those involved in this disastrous event a lot of strength.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
