I took this photo in the Leuvenum forest near Ermelo in the Veluwe. To take this photo I had to stand in the water, luckily I had my boots on. When I took this photo, my immediate intention was to take it in colour. I chose to take this photo standing to still emphasise the height of the trees. The water you see comes from the Leuvenumse beek(Hierdense beek), the water was quite high because of the rain. Some of the trees in the forest stand in the water of the stream, which is good for nature. The part of Leuvenum forest where I was standing is mainly deciduous forest. You can even see a few fallen trees in the foreground. When I took this photo, the sun came through the clouds for a while, which can be seen in the standing trees.
