I took this picture of a Scots pine on the Ermelo heath near Ermelo. It is an image that you can often encounter on the Veluwe. The heathland is grazed by about 300 sheep. Unfortunately the heathland wasn't pretty purple when I took the picture. To be able to take this picture I used a polarization filter to make the blue sky a little darker and the clouds even more visible. Of course I also used a tripod so I could lower the iso value.
