I took this black-and-white photo in the Leuvenum forest in the municipality of Ermelo in the Veluwe. This forest was once planted to fix the drifting sand, you can still see that the trees were planted. However, it is a piece of coniferous forest in the Leuvenumse bos. To make this photo, I took 3 photos with different exposures to merge into 1 well-exposed photo afterwards, making it an HDR. When I took this HDR photo, I already knew this photo was going to be in black and white. I chose to take this photo standing to emphasise the height of the trees. Of course, I also used a tripod to keep my camera stable, and I also used a 35mm lens.
I also have a colour version of this photo, the work code of the colour photo is 1149253
