About "Spiky food"

About the artwork

Two beautifully shaped flower buds of the Artichoke. The sharp tips of the bracts of this flower bud turn purple and red. These bracts protect the precious pistils and stamens developing inside this flower bud.

To do full justice to the shapes, the background has been kept vague and a limited deviation of hue chosen. The design of the stones is the wall in the background give a soft contrast, just enough to keep the attention on the flower buds. The Artichoke should be the main subject without stepping out of the frame. The lighting has been kept soft for a calm image.

This image can be an optimal addition to a space that needs to exude tranquillity. It is an attention-grabber without emphasising a particular mood other than calm and relaxation. In a room with a different colour or hue, this image can make just the difference. The yellow tones can then stand out from the wall.

The use of this image with a limited number of colours is versatile. As a tranquillity point or accentuation of calm in rooms with pastel shades or as a breaking point or attention-getter in rooms with bright, different colours.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
