I took this picture in the Leuvenum forest in the municipality of Ermelo. I saw this picture just along a path that also has hiking trails. You have to see it, of course. I liked the composition to capture. When I had put my camera on a tripod and set it, the sun just fell through the foliage exactly on this mushroom, creating this atmosphere. I just don't know what kind of mushroom it is, it's a mushroom of a few centimetres. The green you see is from moss that lies around this mushroom, I just don't know what kind of moss species it is. To make sure there is no vibration in my tripod, I used a remote control, I also had an 85mm macro lens on my camera. I chose to expose the mushroom well making the rest darker, light meter of the camera was on spot metering. I like the calmness and atmosphere of this photo for the wall, it will fit in any room of your home. In large format, this photo is at its best even though it is a macro photo.
