I took this photo in the Leuvenum forest. The stream in the photo is the Leuvenumse beek which is also called the Hierdense beek. A paper mill used to stand on this spot. All that is left of it are two walls where the wheel hung in between and a kind of waterfall. The little bridge you see has several routes crossing it, several hiking routes as well as an equestrian route and a MTB route. Now the terrain has been given back to nature, it is even partly flooded in winter. People have even put sand in the Leuvenumse beek in some places and laid branches in it so that the brook holds water and even floods more often. For this photo I chose to use a slow shutter speed so that there is motion blur in the stream, of course I had put my camera on a tripod so that the rest of the forest is in focus.
