This photo was taken in Andalsnes Norway.
The town lies on the Romsdalsfjord, at the spot where the river Rauma flows on the south side and the Isfjord on the north, westwards into the Romsdalsfjord.
It is surrounded by mountains up to 1,800 metres high.
The overwhelming nature with the Romsdalsfjord, streams and rivers with waterfalls, and many mountain peaks, which invite hiking and climbing.
The Romsdalsgondolen cable car has been bridging the 700 altitude metres from the centre to a mountain restaurant since 2021. The ground station is next to the railway station, climbing museum and harbour.
The restaurant is located on the Nesaksla, the first peak of the ten-kilometre-long Romsdalseggen ridge.
