About "Iceberg in the Mist - Iceland"

About the artwork

This photo was taken during a misty morning on a remote glacial lake in Iceland. A lone iceberg floated slowly through the icy water, enveloped by a dense, mysterious fog. The soft grey tones, diffuse light and complete silence gave this moment something almost otherworldly. Everything felt quiet, empty and powerful at the same time, as if nature held its breath for a moment.

What attracts me so much in these kinds of circumstances is the atmosphere created when the landscape is reduced to its essence. No bright colours or spectacular skies, but simplicity, depth and tranquillity. This image fits completely within my style of photography: minimalist, atmospheric and often with a sense of loneliness or stillness. These are exactly the kind of moments I hope for as a photographer: raw, pure and untouched.

This print fits beautifully in calm interiors, such as a minimalist living room, bedroom or workplace. The cool tones bring visual calm, while the subject matter intrigues and invites thought. For lovers of Iceland, pure landscapes or photography with a story, this is a real eye-catcher.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
