About the artwork

A lonely road winds through an otherworldly landscape of black sand beaches, overgrown rocks and imposing mountains shrouded in mist. This is Vestrahorn, one of Iceland's most photogenic and mysterious places.

The shot was taken from the air and shows the surreal beauty of Icelandic nature, where earth, water and sky seem to merge into one another.

The soft shades of blue and grey emphasise the atmosphere of isolation, tranquillity and endlessness. The small white car on the road shows the scale of the landscape.

For me, this picture is more than just a landscape. It reminds me of the feeling of total isolation you can only experience in places like this. As I flew above the area with my drone, the world seemed to fall silent for a moment. All that remained was the wind, the fog, and the rhythm of the waves on the black coastline.

A perfect work of art for lovers of rugged nature, dramatic landscapes and minimalist colour palettes.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
