About "Between light and dark"

About the artwork

A recognisable piece of the Speuldersbos, captured in the early morning when the forest was still silent and deserted. The winding road runs like a natural path between the tall trees, providing a powerful frame for the person standing in the middle of the road. The soft light passes between the trees and blends with the cool shades of blue, giving the image a mysterious and calm look. The atmosphere is calm and at the same time a touch magical.

I returned to this spot several times to find just the right conditions. For me, moments like this are rare: the right light, the right atmosphere, no wind, no one around. These are the mornings when everything falls together, which makes this image very valuable to me personally. It fits perfectly within my style, in which I am always looking for moody landscapes with a touch of mysticism and simplicity.

Of all the photos I have taken in the Netherlands, this is one that appeals to me every time.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
