About "Anger in Erfurt"

About the artwork

The picture shows the Anger, a central square in the city centre of Erfurt, the capital of the federal state of Thuringia. In the foreground of the picture you can see a wide pedestrian zone paved with light-coloured stone slabs. Many people are strolling leisurely across the square or sitting on benches. Some passers-by are carrying shopping bags - an indication that this is a popular shopping street.

Several historic buildings with elaborately decorated façades can be seen in the background. The Angermuseum with its magnificent baroque portal is particularly striking. To the right are a row of modern shops and cafés with awnings and outdoor terraces that invite you to linger.

A tram line runs through the centre of the square. A tram can just be seen in the picture - it brings dynamism to the scene. A number of trees grow around the square, providing shade in the warmer months and enlivening the square.

The atmosphere in the picture is lively and friendly, typical of an urban centre with a historical backdrop. The Anger is a place where past and present meet.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
