About "South African crowned crane"

About the artwork

The picture shows a South African crowned crane in all its splendour. The elegant bird with its striking appearance takes centre stage. The golden, fan-like crown of feathers on its head, which gives it its name, is particularly eye-catching. It stands out radially and forms a bright contrast to the rest of the plumage.

The face of the crane is partly unfeathered: The cheeks are white, the throat shows a bright red flap of skin. The beak is grey and slightly curved, the eyes appear bright and alert. The neck is long and slender, giving the bird a majestic appearance.

Its body is predominantly covered in grey plumage, with white, black and golden-brown accents on the wings. These colour transitions are particularly beautiful in sunlight and emphasise the bird's noble appearance.

The crane stands on long, dark legs - either on an open grassland or in a shallow water landscape, as is typical of its natural range. The background is slightly blurred, which clearly emphasises the crowned crane.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
