Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘A winter's morning by the Brühlbach’ by Marcel Hechler

On this winter morning, I was out on a hike around Bad Urach. A light mist still hung over the Brühlbach, and the snow muffled every sound — only the water could be heard.

I stopped at this little cascade because I was fascinated by the juxtaposition of harsh winter and soft water: snow on the rocks along the bank, bright green moss that refuses to be beaten down, and a few brown autumn leaves that still tell of the old year.

I deliberately made the flowing water look soft and almost as if it were painted. To me, the picture radiates a quiet, clear freshness — the moment when a winter’s day is just beginning to awaken.

On the wall, it brings a sense of calm to the room. It fits well in living rooms or bedrooms with natural materials and muted colours — anywhere where you want to create a peaceful counterpoint to everyday life.
