I took this photo of a red tulip in the backyard where it was blooming with other bulbs in a flower box. On the left of the photo, you can still see some of the blue grapes that were in the same flower box. It was still early spring when I took this photo. Despite having an 85mm macro lens on my camera, it turned out to be a close-up photo. As you can see, there is still some detail in the flower petals. I chose to take this photo in portrait mode so that it mainly showed this tulip. In post-processing, I did remove a leaf because it was disturbing. Furthermore, I did not crop so that as many pixels as possible are available when printing, which in turn benefits large prints.
