I took this photo of a rhododendron flower in the backyard where this rhododendron was in a pot. I chose to put a flower in the photo making it a close-up. It is not a macro photo, for that you can see too much of the flowers around it. You do see the stamens and pistil inside the flower as well. I don't know which rhododendron species it is, but it is an early flowering species that blooms in early spring. If you look closely, you can still see drops of rain on the other flowers. To take this photo I used an 85mm macro lens, in post-processing I cropped the photo to 3:4 ratio. Otherwise, I took this one out of hand.
