I took this picture on the Beekhuizerzand near Harderwijk. The Beekhuizerzand is a sand drift that you see more often on the Veluwe. The trees you see are Scots pines that survive well on this sandy plain. When I took this picture it was beautiful sunny weather with clear blue sky, it seemed like spring when I took this picture. I also stood on a dune with a nice view over the Zandverstuiving. In the foreground you can see the effects of air pollution in the Netherlands.
