I took this winter photo on the former island of Schokland in the Northeast Polder. The little house you see belonged to the light keeper/ harbour master, on the left of the photo you can also see a small lighthouse. On the other side of this house you have the former harbour of Schokland. The night before I took this photo it had snowed, you can still see the remnants of the snow. When I took this photo I had a blue sky with a little bit of veil cloud. To take this photo, I used 2 photos with different exposures that I merged afterwards. I also used a 55-300mm lens in combination with a polarisation filter for more contrast in the blue sky.
