In Park Groot Leerust in Warmond, on the peaceful banks of the Leede, stands a charming tea pavilion overlooking the water. In this scene, tranquillity takes centre stage. The water lies still, the surroundings exude calm, and the whole atmosphere feels almost timeless. It is a place where little is required and where you naturally slow down.

I took this photo at a moment when everything came together: soft light, little wind and surroundings not yet disturbed by crowds. What appeals to me most about this place is its simplicity. No grand spectacle, but rather the power of tranquillity and space. The tea dome forms a subtle focal point, whilst the Leede and the surrounding greenery carry the scene. The atmosphere is serene and relaxed. A typical Dutch landscape where water, nature and a touch of history come together.
