Every photographer knows that the right light is important. sunrise and sunset are the moments to be ready at the already previewed location.
By the sea, there is also the tide. At this particular spot I didn't want low tide, but also not full high tide, the stones had to remain visible. So it was a matter of deciding when the right moment was there with a hopefully fine sunset.
The shutter speed of this photo is only 6 seconds, but that is long enough to capture the flow of the waves.
