A very familiar place among landscape photographers, the palm village of Petten. Of course, everything has to work out there. You can check the tide beforehand, but the other conditions often have to wait and see, especially if you have to drive 3 hours for it.
When I got there it looked good. Nice high tide, nice clouds and some wind providing the pull in the clouds. The photo was taken with a shutter speed of 121 seconds using some filters and of course from a tripod. It also takes some searching to find a position where no pole is hidden behind another and where you can obtain a certain symmetry.
