About "The elephant myth"

About the artwork

This picture is part of my long series entitled ELEPHANTS.
? The elephant symbolises dignity, wisdom and intelligence. A power animal and very social. MYTH OF THE ELEPHANT: This large painting shows an elephant in the flesh with a golden disc on its forehead. This symbolises mystical Africa. After all, the elephant is the symbolic animal of Africa par excellence and has carried its inner strength and spirit across the savannahs for thousands of years. A very special wild animal that roamed the hot continent in its millions many decades ago. Unfortunately, its numbers have fallen dramatically in a short space of time due to many threats, most notably poaching. Elephant ivory is highly coveted in Asian countries.
? This expressive painting shows the wildness of Africa and the many colours of its inhabitants and nature. Give the elephants a chance by buying this painting and supporting elephant conservation, as part of the proceeds will be donated to elephant orphans in Kenya (Sheldrick Wildlife Trust).
Painted with artist acrylic colours and gold additions in the body and in the disc with gold mica. Enchantingly beautiful and a real feast for the eyes to set rooms in an enchanting light.
❗❗ ? Elephants in the wild are unfortunately threatened with extinction; mainly due to poaching and habitat destruction by humans and climate change as well as other threats!

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
