About "Elephant duo"

About the artwork

This picture is part of my long series entitled ELEPHANTS. The elephant symbolises dignity, wisdom and intelligence. A power animal and very social. This fascinating dynamic! This power of such impressive elephants, captured in a moment of playful joy of these huge creatures about the wet element in which they feel so comfortable. The idea of painting the background in the colour blue using the palette knife technique gives the picture a very special touch. There is something special about the choice of this colour, it soothes our eyes. The elephants are painted and the folds of skin are emphasised with thin strokes. There is nothing distracting or disturbing in this scene.
Elephants in the wild are unfortunately threatened with extinction, mainly due to poaching and habitat destruction by humans, climate change and other threats! The greed for ivory continues unabated, especially on the Asian market. There are only around 400,000 specimens left in Africa, which is alarming. When you buy one of my pictures, I donate to elephant conservation projects.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
