? I painted the praying mantis motif in great detail on a pouring background, which I poured beforehand. "The insect is the winner of climate change: the praying mantis continues to spread" (NABU).

My works are characterised by a unique fusion of realism and abstraction. Animal motifs depicted with astonishing accuracy are set against flowing, abstract backgrounds that lend each work a dreamlike quality.

Animals were and are symbolic protagonists in the visual arts! Animals are one of my favourite subjects in painting. They deserve particular attention because they are under threat worldwide. The extinction of species is in full swing, unfortunately! I paint wildlife in a naturalistic style and often combine this with "Fluid Art" (Pouring), an expressionistic form of painting. This combination of the two is my unique selling point on Artmajeur.

POURING: The special mixture of acrylic paint, pouring medium and silicone creates breathtaking effects, intensified by the subsequent heat treatment. Cells and structures are created. Soft and hard colour transitions. Harmonious blending and strong contrasts. You will find all this in my pictures. Characterised and dominated by beautiful colour cells.
