About "Texture and colour on an old ceiling"

About the artwork

While urbexing, I don't just look straight ahead - I check everything. Even upwards. And precisely because of that, I discovered this pattern, high on the ceiling of a room whose function I couldn't even figure out.

What immediately attracted me was the combination of colours: the moss green, the cracked white and the rusty metal together form an unexpected palette. And then that perfect symmetry - as if someone had deliberately created a pattern, a kind of relief art, a 'trompe l'oeil' that makes you question what you see.

The structures are weathered, but that is precisely what makes it interesting: the interplay of time, decay and form. This work is an ode to looking. To noticing. To the unexpected in forgetting.

In an interior, this image brings not only colour, but also texture and layering. Ideal for those who love abstract art with a story, or an industrial and organic aesthetic.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
