It was the beginning of April when I saw from the shore that the swans had finished building their nest on an island in the lake. Just a few days later the female swan began to lay the eggs in the nest and hatch them. After a good month of waiting, the time had finally come and ten little swan chicks had hatched. Here I show you one of the freshly hatched chicks. They were so cute and swam all over the place. It wasn't so easy to photograph them at eye level because the shore at the lake is very high. But I found a spot where I managed quite well.
