Last fall I traveled together with my family to the North Sea. I had all my camera equipment with me and went on the first evening on the way to the promenade, with the goal to observe a few seals and possibly grey seals. So I packed up my stuff and headed to a jetty in the sea, from which you have a very good view of them. As soon as I arrived, I saw them already lying on the sandbank.
A bit away from the many grey seals, I spotted a small seal.
The setting sun dipped the sandbank in a delicate pink, which allowed this beautiful shot to be taken.
