About "Pressure display in the shadow of time"

About the artwork

This atmospheric black and white picture shows a detail from inside an abandoned paper factory in the Black Forest. The focus is on an old, heavily corroded pressure gauge with a scale of up to 100 kg/cm². The rough metal structure and the traces of decades of weathering tell a story of the industrial past. Surrounded by thick screws and rusty metal, the measuring device looks like a silent witness to an era in which machine noise and steam determined everyday life here. The dull light and high-contrast processing emphasise the morbid aesthetics of decay. Such shots are not only visually appealing, but also document the end of an industrial era and the silent retreat of technology into insignificance. The paper mill, once a place of progress and economic activity, is now a paradise for fans of urban exploration and lost-place photography. The picture invites us to pause and reflect on the transience of human achievements. The patina of the materials is particularly impressive - every grain, every scratch tells its own story.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
