About "Rust and pipes - technical relic in the forest"

About the artwork

This impressive black and white picture shows the interior of an abandoned paper factory in the Black Forest. The motif radiates an almost ghostly calm, although the room was once full of life and noise. Large, weathered machines stand in the centre, surrounded by countless pipes, valves and fittings - a steely testimony to past industrial culture. The machines are eaten away by rust, layers of paint are peeling off and give an idea of how long this place has been abandoned to decay. Graffiti can be seen on the walls, silent signs of the few visitors who still venture here. Daylight falls through narrow windows and illuminates the dusty floors and details of the old technology. The scene seems frozen in time - as if someone had abruptly stopped work and never returned. The image not only conveys the aesthetics of decay, but also a sense of history, transience and the magic of forgotten places. Ideal for lovers of "urban exploration" and industrial romanticism.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
